On a bus ride

The old lady motioned her over.

Bewildered, she tilted her body over to listen.

The old lady pointed to a wound on her leg and passed her a hansaplast. She was taken aback and rejected initially. But the old lady insisted.

Not knowing how to respond, she accepted the hansaplast with a look of astonishment and gratitude.

There is hope for the human race.
