About
About Oiying
Oiying, begins with the letter “O” not “Q”, and is pronounced the way it is spelled.
The word was featured in a book to describe the musical sound produced by the clashing of saucepan and head – “…and he hit him on the head with a saucepan. ‘oooiiiiyyyyiiinngggggggggg’”
The word can also be typed on the keyboard using one hand without moving it around.
Oiying, is really a rose by another name… and it still has thorns.
The Life
Plays in the financial sector’s equivalent of a goal keeper. Truly lives in music and books written by people with passion, conviction, and a point of view. Unfortunately, she still suffers from the complications of spending too many years in the mainstream Singaporean education system, possibly incurable.
The Neuroticism
Tends towards the obsessive compulsive at times. Relatively stable but may be a tad too skeptical for her own good. A confused (by normal standards) person who loves classical music, hard rock from the 70s, tying herself up in intellectual knots and the Lamborghini Murcielago (preferably black). Usually interested in more things than she can handle.
